Sending sympathy and friendship during this time of sorrow. Bob was a “champion” John Deere Parts salesman. Being a woman, in a man’s farming world for over forty years, he always made me feel comfortable and was very helpful. Your Mom was a “champion” bookkeeper and I appreciated both of them very much. I am sorry for your loss, but am glad you all had such nice parents and am sure the family will enjoy having good memories. Jennie Holmes

I’m so thankful I got to meet your sweet daddy. I will never forget his big smile and hint of mischief. I will be forever grateful that he and your mama brought some of my favorite people into the world, and I’m so happy they are reunited. All our love, Becky and Al

I am deeply saddened at the passing of Bob. He was such a sweet and jovial person. I enjoyed working with him and Shirley at Melton Bros. My thoughts, love, and prayers are extended to the whole family especially to his daughters who took such good care of their dad. He loved his girls tremendously. May you find peace and comfort in all the wonderful memories he left behind.

Janette and DeDe,
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. It is so hard to lose your parents and losing the last one is really hard. it does get better with time and prayer. Y'all were lucky; just like Pam and I; you were blessed with exceptional parents. Keep the memories close and think of them often and think of them often. I will keep you all in my prayers. Be thankful for the time you had them and the tihings they taught and left us all with.
It is like on the shampoo bottle: apply, wash, rinse, and repeat. Tell the stories, laugh, cry, and start all over again.

He was a delightful gentleman. I always enjoyed talking with him on FB. He was so very proud of you, Janette, and Dede, and of course Taylor was his hero. I know his absence will be felt by many for a very long time. Remember all the blessings in his life and find peace.
Love you all.
