David Morgan Adams

January 23, 1950 - April 13, 2022

David Morgan Adams 72 of Trumann, AR, passed away April 13, 2022 at his home after enduring a lengthy illness. He was born in Jonesboro, AR to the late Ernest Marlin and Charlene Morgan Adams.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mrs. Susan Dell Adams King. He is survived by his wife of 48 years  Linda Walker Adams of the home. One daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Adams Frisby (Mike) of Bay, one son, John Marlin Adams (Kristi) of Paragould; six granddaughters, Abby, Emma Claire, Lena, and Staci Frisby, Morgan Jewell and Haley Adams.  One great-granddaughter, Adalynn Wiggins. Two sister-in-laws, Gloria Walker and Rita Stoker (Steve) all of Jonesboro.       David was a 1968 graduate of Trumann High School and a 1972 college graduate of Arkansas State University.  He was a certified Crop Advisor and Salesman.  David was a christian and member of the First General Baptist Church of Trumann.  He was a much loved husband, father and grandfather.      Visitation services will be held Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home.      A private burial for the family will be Saturday at Oaklawn Cemetery in Jonesboro with Pastor Darrel Miller officiating.      We would like to give special recognition to Phillip Shirley for his lifelong friendship to David and the Adams family.  Also, special thanks to Randy Blagg for being a friend and helpful neighbor through the years.  Special thanks of appreciation goes out to the staff at St. Bernards Home Health and St. Bernards Home Hospice.     In compliance with COVID-19 restrictions, face masks or other facial covering and social distancing is optional.
