Sylvia Ruth Smith

Mrs. Sylvia Ruth Smith of Trumann, AR departed this life Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the age of 72 years, 6 months and 6 days. She was born on Friday, October 7, 949  in Lake City, AR and lived most of her life in Trumann.  She was a retired Care Giver and a member of First Assembly of God Church.  Sylvia enjoyed sewing, crafting, going to the beach and spending time with family and grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene McKinney; one sister, Doris Bailey and her parents, Marion and Goldie Wilson McKinney. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Gerald Smith of the home; two sons, Kevin (Krissy) Smith, and Shannon Smith of Trumann; four daughters, Michelle Burks of Harrison, AR, Shawna Brown of Trumann, Jeri Smith of Mooresville, IN, and Stephanie Hardy of Houston, TX; four sisters, Darlene Crabtree of Coleman, TX, Marlene Hale of West Plaines, MO, Melba Wood of Paragould, AR, and Charolet Kinnel of Trumann, AR; four brothers, Doyle McKinney of Rockford, IL, Orland McKinney of Trinidad, TX, James McKinney of Cherokee Village, AR, and William McKinney of Paragould, AR 9 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.       Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 til 7:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church, 27654 W. Main Ext., Trumann, AR.       A Celebration of Life will be Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church with  Rev. Kenneth Doke officiating.  Burial will follow at Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery in Harrisburg, AR .Active pallbearers will be Tyler Bailey, Wes Osment, Jared Maxwell, Taylor Morgan, Kenny Maxwell, and Junior Adams.  Honorary will be Gary Russell, Mike Dungan, Lloyd Inzer and Ron Stockton.
