Royce was truly an inspiration, role model, great nurse, and above all an amazing friend. I will miss seeing her at work. I will miss her guidance not only professional level, but as a trusted friend as well. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I hate that I’m not able to attend. She will forever be in my heart.

To Royce’s husband daughter and family: please accept my deepest sympathy at your profound loss of such a wonderful woman. I had the pleasure of teaching Royce at AState School of Nursing. She was a stellar student and came to us with so many strengths, was the perfect student who absorbed everything we had to offer her as faculty.
