Royce Henrietta Howard

December 27, 1965 - June 11, 2022

Mrs. Royce Henrietta Howard of Bay passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN at the age of 56 years, 5 months and 15 days.  She was born Monday, December 27, 1965 in Trumann and lived most of her life in the Trumann and Bay area.  Royce was a RN at NEA Baptist Hospital and a nurse for 31 years. She also was a member of Neals Chapel Baptist Church for many years.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Moore and Mearle Bushong Brown; and her aunt and uncle who raised her, Leslie and Lillian Persinger.        She is survived by one daughter, Taya Howard of Bay; one brother, Scott Moore of Bay and two nephews, Zach Moore of Trumann and Dylan Moore of Paragould.        The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Hudgens officiating.  Burial will follow at Leachville Cemetery in Leachville, AR.         Pallbearers will be Scott Moore, Zach Moore and Dylan Moore.         In compliance with Covid-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is optional.                An online register book can be signed at www.
