Katherine Aline Weaks

Katherine Aline Weaks departed this life on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the family residence, at the age of 83 years, 10 months and 22 days. She was born Sunday, September 18, 1938 in Leachville, AR to the late Clarence and Elizabeth Walker Galloway.  Katherine was a general laborer, she was employed for Dixie Gin for several years and was well known as “Bicycle Red”.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Weaks, one son, Raymond Weaks, several brothers and sisters and her parents.       She is survived by her son, Joe Weaks of the home, two sisters, Geraldine Cozart of Trumann and Sybil Williams of Myrtle, Mississippi and three grandchildren, Priscilla Stevens, Jerrie Steele and Teneisha Weaks; and 9 great-grandchildren including Quaine Hogan, Micah Hogan, Cathryn Stevens.       The family will receive friends Thursday, August 18th from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Broadway Ave. Baptist Church in Bay, AR.  A Celebration of life will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Rev.
