Wilma Reeves

Wilma Joe Reeves of Trumann departed this life on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Lakeside Nursing Home in Lake City, AR at the age of 94 years and 4 days.  She was born Wednesday, September 5, 1928 in Savannah, TN and lived in Trumann most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Jackson Reeves; 4 sisters, 5 brothers, one grandson, Jeff Clements, and her parents, Elmer and Rosa Smith Qualls.       She is survived by one daughter, Linda Clements of Jonesboro; one son, James (Betty) Reeves of Trumann; one sister, Faye Jenkins of Tyronza, AR; 2 grandchildren, Andrew (Linda) Reeves of Lake City, AR, and Christine (Dallas) Harrell of Pocahontas, AR; 6 great-grandchildren, Courtney Huffman, Devin Huffman, Jacob Reeves, Laci Hampton, Maccie Hampton, and Walker Harrell and 5 great-great-grandchildren, Ann Holbrook, Arnold Holbrook, Conner Boyd, Allison Boyd, and Blair Huffman.       Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 to 2:00 at Thompson Funeral Home.  Celebration of life will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Jason Adams, Bro. Michael Jernigan and Billy Baker officiating.  Burial will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg.       Pallbearers will be Freddy Jenkins, Tommy Holmes, Jimmy Wright, Randy Blancett, Robbie Qualls and Robert Qualls.  Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Austin, Doug Qualls and Barry Byram.        In compliance with COVID-19 face masks or other facial covering is optional.   Online guest book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net
