Ted Rayford Smith

Mr. Ted Rayford Smith of Trumann, departed this life Thursday, December 15, 2022 at  the family residence at the age of 81 years, 9 months and 3 days.  He was born Wednesday, March 12, 1941 in Waterloo, Alabama to the late Marvin Edward and Mattie Brown Smith. He was a lifetime resident of  the Trumann area and was a retired employee of the City of Trumann Parks Department. He loved gardening, woodworking and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Louise Victory Smith, 3 sisters and 3 brothers. He is survived by 2 daughters Sherrie (Lloyd) Jones of Trumann and Karrie (Dale) Taber of Marked Tree, 3 grandsons, Logan (Lauren) Thomas, Ashton (Kali) and Payton Jones, and 2 sisters, Glenda (Larry) Morlock and Barbara Sue (Earl) Sharp both of Tyronza.
