Muriel Jean TurnerAugust 3, 1944 - January 15, 2023 Muriel Jean Turner of Trumann departed this life on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 78 years, 5 months, and 12 days. She was born in Lepanto, AR and lived her lifetime in the Trumann and Lepanto area. She was a housewife and member of the Viva Drive Church of Christ in Trumann. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman William “Bud” Morrison; second husband, Jerry Turner; one step-son, 3 sisters, 2 brothers and her parents, Eugene Littleton and Jessie Irene Ragsdale Crocker. She is survived by one daughter, Debra (John) Goss of Broken Arrow, OK; one grandson, Halston Kelso; two great-grandchildren; one brother, John (Susan) Crocker of Harrisburg; two step-sons, Scotty (Lelia) Turner of Yukon, OK and Teddy (Jackie) Turner of Southhaven, MS.; 6 step grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 17th from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Viva Drive Church of Christ, 224 Viva Drive in Trumann. A Celebration of Life will follow at 6 p.m. with Joe Spangler officiating. Burial will be private at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR.
