Gary Walker

June 12, 1949 - February 12, 2023

Gary Lee Walker of Jonesboro, AR departed this life Sunday, February 12th at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 73 years and 8 months. He was born Sunday, June 12, 1949 in Harrisburg, Arkansas and had lived most of his lifetime in the Jonesboro area.  He was a retired factory worker, Army veteran during the Vietnam War and of the Baptist faith.  He was preceded in death by one son, Donovan Patterson, two sisters, five brothers and his parents, Albert and Hattie Hogue Walker.       He is survived by one daughter, Christie Walker of Jonesboro; two sisters, Linda (Gary) Parker and Velma Mae (Bo) King all of Trumann; one brother, Jimmy (Myra) Walker of Heber Springs. 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, several nieces and  nephews.       Service will be private.       In compliance with COVID-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is optional.       Online guest book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net
