Diane Kay Dickerson

September 9, 1951 - June 20, 2023

Diane Kay Dickerson of Trumann, departed this life Tuesday, June 20th at NEA  Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 71 years, 9 months and 11 days. She was born Sunday, September 9, 1951 in Florence, AL to the late Larry and Goldie Christine South Armstrong.   Diane loved to hunt, fish, dance and spending time with family.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James Charlie Dickerson; one son, Chris Dickerson; three brothers, Larry Jr, Bobby and Ronnie Armstrong; one sister, Doris Johnson and her parents.       She is survived by one daughter, Lisa (Timothy) Meadors of Trumann; one son, Darnell (Cheryl) Dickerson of Trumann; two sisters, Regina (John) Goodwin of Paragould and Teresa Johnston of Yellville, AR; one brother, Frankie Armstrong of Trumann; four grandchildren, Kyehl Adams, Jared (Sasha) Adams Avery, Jennifer (Jefferson) Romney and James Christopher “Jamie:” Dickerson; four great-grandchildren, McKinley Adams, Henry Romney, Kennedy Romney and Allen Romney; and one great-grandpuppy, Ollie.       The family will receive friends Sunday,  from 5:00  - 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Jefferson Romney officiating.  Burial will follow in Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, AR.       Pallbearers will be Kyehl Adams, Jared Adams Avery, Gary Owens, Jefferson Romney, Kenneth DuVall and Kevin Lawrence.  Honorary pallbearers are James Christopher “Jamie” Dickerson Timothy Meadors and John Goodwin.
