Doris Ann Dobbins

January 10, 1947 - July 14, 2023

Doris Ann Dobbins of Trumann departed this life on Friday, July 14, 2023 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro at the age of 76 years, 6 months and 4 days.  She was born Friday, January 10, 1947 in Jonesboro, Ark and had lived in Trumann for the past six years and was formerly of Southaven, Miss.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.  Mrs. Dobbins was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Thomas; one brother, Larry Wells and was the daughter of the late Hallard and Irene Hill Wells.    She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert Dobbins of the home; two sons, Terry Dobbins of Jonesboro, Ark., and Mark Dobbins of Memphis, Tenn; one sister, Shelby Travis of Paragould; one brother, James Wells of Bay; one grandchild, Tyler Dobbins and three great-grandchildren, Ryland, Grayson & Natalie. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 16th from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. A celebration of life will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Dobbins and Rev. Larry Loggins officiating.  Committal service will be Monday at 10:30 A.M. at Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark.       Pallbearers will be Keith Wells, Alan Thomas, Derik Pippinger, Wesley Motes, Richard Dobbins, Jeff Gammon, Donnie Pippinger and Ronnie Pippinger.
