Jean Meeker

Mrs. Bessie Jean Meeker, of Jonesboro, Ark, departed this life Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the family residence in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 58 years 3 months and 28 days. She was born Friday, October 31, 1958 in Jonesboro, AR, where she lived most of her lifetime. Mrs. Meeker was a kitchen worker for Valley View School District and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Pipkin; and her parents, Herbert and Lora Marie Thomas Meeker. She is survived by two sons, Anthony Prine and Scotty Prine both of West Memphis, Ark., and one sister, Vivian Harpole of Jonesboro. Graveside service will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Jim Pagan officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann. Pallbearers will be Earl Pipkin, Jr., Gage Pipkin, Daniel Harpole, Kelly Klingensmith, B. J. Glasco, Jeff Meeker. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
