Johnny D Carroll

Johnny Carroll of Trumann passed away October 2, 2023 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 68 years, 7 months and 1 day.  He was born Tuesday, March 1, 1955 in and was a lifetime resident of Trumann.  Johnny enjoyed fishing, collecting marbles and old coins and loved to play pool. He was preceded in death by one son, Jessie Wayne Carroll, brother-in-law, Roy May, Jr. and his parents, Travis Carroll and Virginia Sullivan.      He is survived by one son, Adam Carroll; one daughter, Tonya Johnson of Trumann; four brothers, Thomas Carroll of Gosnell, AR, Terry (Peggy) Carroll of Brighton, TN, Charles (Cathy) Carroll of St. Charles, MO, Eugene (Sheila) Carroll of Alton, IL; two sisters, Brenda (K.C.) Mosier of Richmond, IN and Linda May of Richmond, IN; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.      The family will receive friends Sunday, October 8th from 3:00  -  5:00 pm at Thompson Funeral Home.        A celebration of life will be Monday at 10:00 am in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Bro.
