Margaret A Deiss

April 9, 1937 - October 8, 2023

Margaret Ann Deiss of Trumann, departed this life Sunday, October 8, 2023 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 86 years, 5 months and 29 days. She was born in Jonesboro and lived most of her lifetime in Trumann.  Margaret was a retired teacher aide from Trumann Public School and was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E “Bud” Deiss; one daughter, Susan Hale Jones and her parents, James K Sr. and Billie Louise Pardew Parks. She is survived by two sons, Thomas (Beth) Hale of Russellville, AR and Kelly T (Rohani) Hale of Flower Mound, TX; one brother, James K (Brenda) Parks Jr., three grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 12th from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 1301 Hwy 69 W, Trumann, AR.  A celebration of life will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. John Maley officiating.  Burial will be Friday, October 13th in Schaffhauser Cemetery in Marvell, AR, with Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann in charge.          Lasting Memorials can be made to First Baptist Church of Trumann, P.O.
