Kerry Dewayne Cockrell

May 7, 1982 - January 17, 2024

Kerry “Dewayne” Cockrell of Trumann, departed this life Wednesday, January 17th at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 41 years, 8 months and 10 days. He was born Friday, May 7, 1982 in Jonesboro, AR and lived most of his lifetime in the Trumann/Harrisburg area. He was a metal scrap material collector. He loved  food and visiting his grandma. He loved the Lord and his family more than anything. He also enjoyed fishing with his kids. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Patrick Holmes; step-mother, Liz Cockrell; grandparents, Woody and Louise Gaddis, Willie Cockrell; two aunts, Sheila Cockrell, Sharon Hall; two cousins, Michael and Leslie Cockrell.       He is survived by his wife Erica Cole Cockrell of the home, two sons, Gage and Noah Golden of the home; his father, Kerry Lynn Cockrell of Caraway; his mother, Theresa Gaddis Holmes of Harrisburg; two sisters, Brandy Cockrell of Harrisburg, Jessica Cockrell of Lake City; two brothers, Randy Cockrell of Harrisburg, Zachary Cook of Trumann; grandmother, Lavern Morgan; and 6 nieces and nephews, Jadien Riley, Kaleb Eldridge, Jacob Lane, Lacey Reeves, Jaci Reeves, and Lucas Reeves.       The family will receive friends Monday, January 29th from 12:30 till 1:30 p.m.  at Thompson Funeral Home.  A celebration of life will follow at 1:30 with Rev.
