Hadleigh Elrod

Hadleigh Raine Elrod of Trumann departed this life Tuesday, January 23rd in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 5 years,7 months and 18 days.  Hadleigh was born Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in Jonesboro and was a kindergartener at Trumann Elementary School.  She was preceded in death by mother, Haley Rouse Smith; great-grandparents, Doris Johnson, and Elex and Ora Jean Elrod, great-grandparent, Clifford Rouse; great-grandpa, Jesse Morrison; grandpa  Mark Grimes; great-grandpa, Gayle Grimes; great-grandma Sylvia Smith and uncle, George Ezell. She is survived by her father, Nicholas (Lauren) Elrod of Trumann; step-dad, Justin Smith of the home; three brothers, Landon Smith, Brentlee Smith, and Draedyn Tolbert of the home; and three sisters, Raelynn Tolbert, Vada Elrod and Aaliyah Grimes of the home; grandparents, Greg Rouse of Trumann and Melissa Morrison of Jonesboro, Melinda and Dewayne Young of Paragould, Paul Elrod of Trumann, Jennifer and Steve Privett of Harrisburg and Shannon and Patricia Smith of Trumann; great-grandma, Fair Rouse and great-grandparents, Shella and Larry Nichols.       Pallbearers will be Jason Hamby, Brian Hamby, Brian Fallis, Terry Matney, Steve Howard, Jr. and Shannon Smith.  Honorary pallbearers are Shannon Rouse, Kian Hisaw, Kaysen Hanna and Emery Baker.      The family will receive friends on Monday, January 29th from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. at First Assembly of God in Trumann.  A celebration of life will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Eddie LaPiro officiating.  Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR.          An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
