Raoul Albert Simpson

July 14, 1964 - January 31, 2024

Williford - Raoul Albert Simpson Sr., of Williford, AR departed this life  January, 31st in Williford at the age of 59 years, 6 months, and 17 days. He was born July 14, 1964 to the late Adolph Simpson and Edith Bunting. He lived most of his life in the Trumann area, was a retired contractor and of the Baptist faith. He was an avid arrowhead hunter and rock collector. He was preceded in death by his parents, a nephew John Wood Jr.; three brother-in-laws, Scott Salazar, James Lewis and James Mason.       He is survived by his son, Raoul Simpson, Jr. of Trumann; three brothers, Larry (Connie) Cole of Paragould, Joe McConnell of Fort Smith, AR, John (Brandy) Wood of Trumann; five sisters, Minnie Lewis of Cecil, AR, Patricia Rogers of Trumann, Mary Mason of Bay, AR, Sandra Guthrie of Paragould, AR, Cristle (Scotty) Kilgore of Trumann; three grandchildren, Cristle Gale, Corey Raoul, and Flora Mae.       The family will receive friends Monday, February 5th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow  with Ralph Guthrie officiating. Burial will be at McCullough Cemetery in Kennett, MO.       Active Pallbearers will be: April Pendergrass, Larry Cole, Vernon Rogers, John Wood, Andrew Tippitt, Jacob Tippitt.
