Mr. Freddie Lee Walls of Trumann departed this life Thursday, February 9, 2017, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 86 years, 7 months and 25 days.. He was born Sunday, June 15, 1930 and was a lifetime resident of Trumann, Ark. He was a retired factory worker and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Walls was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Cummings Walls; one step-brother, Billy Ray Smith and his parents J.C. and Bertha Richardson Walls. He is survived by one step-daughter; Michelle Walls of Paragould; several cousins, and a special friend Martha Hillier. Funeral services will be Monday afternoon, February 13, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Rick Kimery officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, Ark. Pallbearers will be Jordan Long, Preston Jones, Cameron Jones, Matt Curtis, Bo Benson and Scott Taylor.
