Michael Lynn Reese

June 5, 1966 - February 14, 2025

Michael Lynn Reese, of Trumann departed this life Friday, February 14, 2025 in Trumann at the age of 58 years 8 months and 9 days.  He was born June 5, 1966 in Jonesboro, AR, and was a lifetime resident of Trumann.  He was the owner of Speedway Sales Golf Cars in Trumann, he was an avid sports fan of the Razorbacks and Indianapolis Colts.  Michael loved dogs and would never let a stray go hungry.  At Speedway Sales he treated everyone as friends rather than customers.  He had an adventurous spirit conquering roller coasters, scary movies, new foods, and traveling. However his  favorite was playing with his grandkids. He was a member of the Maple Grove Baptist Church.  Michael was preceded in death by his father, Willie Ray “Billy” Reese. He is survived by his wife Leisa Roach Reese of the home;  two daughters, Scarlett (Kaleb) Capps of Jonesboro and Heather Reese of Lake City; two sons, Merritt (Christi) Davis of Trumann and Jordan Reese of Ft. Leonard Wood MO; his mother, Sallie Mae Reese of Trumann; two brothers, Robert “Bubba” Lee Reese of Trumann and Elmer Ray Reese of Louisiana and 6 grandchildren. Special friend, Blake Johnson of Jonesboro.       The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 until 6:00 at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.  A Celebration of Life will follow in the chapel at 6:00 p.m. with Ronnie Dye officiating.  Committal service will be Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.         Pallbearers will be Blake Johnson, Scott Crites, Shawn Hall, Jim Welch, Jan Morgan and Scotty Taylor.       Memorials may be made to lovebeyondbordersar.org.       An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
