I am so thankful to have sat under the ministry of Brother Vickers for over 25 years. His heart was that of a shepherd, for he cared for all the flock. I can almost see him praising the Lord

It is with joy and sorrow to hear of your passing. Tremendous Joy because I know you are home with the Lord and deep sorrow because we will all miss you so much. You lived an exemplary life that bore much fruit for God, our Father, whom you served faithfully till the end. The compassion and kindness that you so freely bestowed upon all you met will surely follow you into eternity to the glory of God! I first met Bro Gerald over 30 years ago. He was always the kindest, most Godly man I’d ever met. Little did I know I would meet his daughter, Anita, many years later and realize just what a wonderful woman she was and why! Anita & Eddy, I have your family in my prayers and wish I could be there. But with the health issues I’m facing, I know you understand. Please know that if there is anything at all that I can do, please don’t hesitate to let me know! You will all be in my constant thoughts and prayers.
