Ronnie Gene Haynes

Ronnie Gene Haynes of Trumann, Ark., departed this life on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the age of 62 years, 5 months and 28 days.  Ronnie was born Thursday, October 25, 1962 in Wynne, AR and  lived in Trumann for 38 years.  He attended ASU and Lyon College, where he was a member of the TAU Kappa Epsilon fraternity.  He was employed by Federal Protection Company as a service and installation manager.  Mr. Haynes was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church.  He loved to hunt, cook, grill, and umpire baseball games.  He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruby Jean Maddox Haynes.       He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Shannon McMickle Haynes of the home; one son, Sean Haynes of Jonesboro; one daughter, Johanna Haynes of St. Louis, MO; 3 nieces, 9 great-nieces and nephews, his hunting buddies in training. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A Celebration of life will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Clint Haynes officiating. Committal will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR.       Active pallbearers will be Steven Anderson, Adam Farmer, Andy Tidwell, Derel Casteel, Jeff Eddy and Hugh Kleypas.
