Melinda Woods

August 20, 1968 - May 16, 2025

Melinda Joyce Moss Woods of Trumann departed this life Friday, May 15th at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 56 years, 8 months and 26 days.  She was born in Harrisburg on Tuesday, August  20, 1968 and lived most of her lifetime in Trumann.  She was a factory worker and enjoyed gardening and watching True Crime on TV and was a member of Viva Drive Church of Christ.  Melinda was the daughter of the late Johnny and Joyce Carter Moss.  She was also preceded in death by one brother, Billy Moss and her grandparents.       Melinda is survived by three daughters, Amelia Miller of Jonesboro, Samantha (Andrew) Ellis of Bay and Lauren Owens of Trumann; one brother, Steven Moss of Trumann; two sisters, Melissa (Paul) Bandy of Trumann and Beth (Mike) Sneed of Lepanto;   14 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; one sister-in-law, Malena Moss of Trumann; and several nieces and nephews    Burial will be private.       An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net
