I worked with Bill Evans at Singer and knew his wife Miss Norma. I had no idea that she had passed until today. I had not seen her posting on Facebook lately which led me to Google her. I know that it is improper ediquit to send sympathy cards after a certain amount of time but I thought that I would post this. I also lived in Dirt Smith when Bill and Miss Norma worked at Riverside. My late wife Libby and I became close to Miss Norma. Muss Norma could go from no food on the table to a table full of good food within 30 to 45 minutes. My late wife once commented, "If I could have picked a mother, I would have picked Miss Norma." That was one heck of a fine compliment to Miss Norma. Well, she and Bill are together again in heaven. If I live right I will see them and my late wife again in heaven. May she Rest in Peace.

Well, I tried to post and it lost my message in cyberspace.
I worked with Bill Evans at Singer and knew Miss Norma. When Miss Norma and Bill lived in Fort Smith my late wife, Libby, and I lived there too. Libby once told me that if she could have picked her mother it would have been Miss Norma. In my estimation that was the biggest compliment that Libby ever gave. Miss Norma could go from no food on the table to a table full of food in 30 to 45 minutes and it was all good eating.
After Bill passed I kept in touch with Miss Norma on Facebook. This morning I realized that she had not posted lately. So I googled her and found this obituary. She and Bill had moved back to Trumann many years ago and I live in Van Buren, Arkansas. Well, she and Bill are together again in heaven and if I live right I will see them and my late wife Libby in the future.
May the Rest in Peace
