Kathryn Ann Hendrix

Kathryn Ann Hendrix of Jonesboro departed this life Monday, November 17, 2025 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 86 years, 4 months and 19 days. She was born June 29, 1939 in Memphis, TN to the late Irvin and Nida Oretha Raney Privett. She loved people and was a member of Shepherd’s Heart Church and loved to cook for others. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Buford Hendrix, Sr.; son Charles Buford, Jr..; daughter Susan Hendrix Thompson; her parents; sister, Tula Sharp; and two sons-in-law, Michael Shawn Gott and Ron Thompson.       She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Lynn Hendrix Gott of Jonesboro; her son, Robert (Teresa) Hendrix of Trumann; six grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.       The family will receive friends Friday, November 21, 2025  from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home. A Celebration will follow  at 1:30 with Rev. Larry Loggins officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home.       Active pallbearers are: Ryan Price, Nate Gott, Kenneth Hendrix, Robert Hendrix III, Scott Neal, and Billy Wagner, Jr.       Online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
