Ronald Brooks Taylor

Ronald “Ronnie” Brooks Taylor of Trumann departed this life Monday, December 22, 2025 at his home at the age of 76 years, 11 months, and 22 days. He was born December 30, 1948 in Detroit, MI to the late  Luther and Juanita Briley Taylor. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the United States Marines. He was an American Legion Commander in Trumann serving for 25 years and loved to take care of the VA memorial in Trumann. He was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Ricky Taylor; four sisters, Patsy Richardson, Suzy Facello, Linda Cherry, and Diane Elrod; brother-in-law James Sawyer; and nephew, Joey Don Taylor; and his dog Buddy.      He is survived by his twin brother, Donnie (Wanda Jo) Taylor and Jed Taylor both of Trumann, two sisters, Jeanette (Bob) Grammer of Iuka, MS and Paulette Sawyer of Highland, AR.       The family will receive friends Monday, December 29, 2025 from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home. A celebration of life will follow at 1:30 with Rev. Jim Duffel officiating. Burial will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye, AR.
