Junior Hale Pitts

Mr. Junior Hale Pitts, 73 of Trumann died Thursday, June 2, 2016 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 73 years, 3 months and 5 days. Mr. Pitts was born Sunday, February 28, 1943 in Mountain View, Ark.., and had lived in Trumann since 1963. He was a former employee of the Singer Company and Roach Mfg. and was a member of the First Assembly of God in Trumann. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Pitts , one son, Randy Pitts, and one sister. He is survived by one daughter, Carla Buckner of Trumann; three grandsons, Coty Buckner, Zachery Buckner and Jonathan Pitts; one sister, Josephine Leffert of Eudora, Kansas and one brother, Norman Pitts of Lawrence, Kansas. Funeral service will be Monday morning at 10:00 A.M. at the First Assembly of God with Rev. Kenneth Doke officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Lloyd Inzer, Zachery Buckner, Coty Buckner, Richard Green, John Medeiros, and Sonny Parrish. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
