Charles Hamilton Clements

Charles Hamilton Clements of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., died Thursday at the family residence at the age of 77 years, 2 months and 2 days. Mr. Clements was born Sunday, January 29, 1939 in Caraway, Ark. and had lived in Horseshoe Bend for the past two years and was formerly of Trumann. He was a car salesman and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by two sons, Curtis Hamilton Clements, and Tony Gene Clements; and his parents, Jack and Marie Vinson Clements. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn Ford Clements of the home; two sons, Jerry Don and Charles Anthony Clements both of Horseshoe Bend; one brother, J. C. Clements of Horseshoe Bend; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Graveside service will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Pine Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark., with Rev. John Maley officiating.
