Mrs. Susan Dell Adams King, died Friday, January 29, 2016 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, AR., at the age of 62 years, 8 months and 29 days. She was born Tuesday, May 5, 1953 in Jonesboro, AR., to the late Ernest Marlin and Charlene Morgan Adams and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was an RN for over 30 years and a member of the First Baptist Church in Trumann. Mrs. King was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Jerry W. King of the home; two daughters, Kelly Thompson of Hot Springs, AR; and Melissa King Waldroop and husband Travis of Franklin, NC, one son, Eric Wayne King and wife Jakaland of Paragould; one brother, David Morgan Adams and wife Linda of Trumann. 7 grandchildren, Shelby Eaton, Jordan Waldroop, Erica Waldroop, Scout Mincy, Ben Waldroop, Maddox King, and Chandler King and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Monday, February 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Jonesboro. Pallbearers will be John Adams, Jan Morgan, Taylor Morgan, Jason Durham, Steven Etter and Bryan Mooneyham.
