Suellen, I will never forget our teen years. Your mom sewing us matching granny gowns that we wore on one of our band trips to Hot Springs. The time she burned her hand & I washed her hair, so she wouldn't get her hand wet. Your mother was always so understanding. My prayers for you and your brothers & sister.

Ray and Elizabeth had a trailor just behind my mom and dad's at Taylor"s Camp. I remember one year crawling all under their trailor fixing all their plumbing in the Spring after all their pipes had froze and burst that winter. But the greateast thing is the Half-Gallon whiskey bottle I have of peppers from your mom's garden that she filled with vinegar to make me some pepper sauce. She knew how much I loved pepper sauce! And she made sure to let me know that she didn't use the cheap, generic white vinegar, she used the expensive Heinz! Everyone in my house knows to never throw that bottle away, if it gets empty! I just add some more white vinegar and I am good to go! I have had that bottle I know over 10 years and am still using it and will to the day I die. Your Dad's whisky and your mom"s peppers! Your mother will be missed but will be in your hearts forever through the wonderful memories that you have. When I drive by your mother`s house, i love to look at the group of chairs in the circle in her yard. , i know that family time to her was very important and that you enjoyed visiting as a family . So sorry for this sad loss to your family. I always loved so much the times when growing up that I spent around Elizabeth and at your home. It was always so "exciting" and "active" compared to my home with just Curt and me. Yet no matter how active it was, your mom always seemed to be calm and collected.
