Deepest sympathies from all the Vickers family. As our high school counselor, Mrs. Houston was a true gem. She cared about all of us and we were very aware. As our long-time family friend, she was loved and will be missed. Now she is in the presence of God.

Dear Noyl, Teresa, Sue, and families,Dan and I are so very sorry for your loss. Sue, I remember the first time I visited Central Baptist and you and Frank invited me home for Sunday lunch; as Frank bragged about your wonderful mincemeat pie, he asked me what I did. I shared with him that I was a new teacher in Trumann. He said to me," I'm from Trumann. I have a sister that is the High School Counselor there." He was so very proud of her. Noyl and Teresa, I had the upmost respect for your mother. Although I wasn't on the same campus as her , every time I ran into her at school wide meetings or other events she was such a warm and lovely lady. She was so dedicated to the students. Mine and Dan 's prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. May our sweet Heavenly Father bless you with the peace that passes all understanding.Dan and Dana Spencer

Dear Noyl, Sharon, and John, I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom! She was a wonderful woman who inspired so many to be the best they could be. And of course, she was a big part of memories in high school encouraging me in my many endeavors. I remember one night she and my mom encouraged me to get in her car while it was pouring down rain during a football game but I told her I really wanted to keep cheer leading and she laughed so hard.I'm sure I looked like a drenched mouse!She was a beautiful woman inside and out and I'm so thankful she was part of my life. She was a wonderful lady. Any one that entered into THS knew who she was before ever meeting her. She was school councillor and friend. She will be missed and remembered for her service at trumann school PLUS for our Lord and Savior.

I was sadden to learn of Mrs Houston death. I had her as a math teacher in six grade and then she was my high school counselor when I was in High School. I thought a lot of her and am sorry I will not be able to pay my respects as I will be out of town. To all her family I pray you will remember her with great fondest as I know I will.
