Wilma Joan "Joanie" DiVittorio

Mrs. Wilma Joan “Joanie” DiVittorio of Trumann died Sunday, January 11, 2015, at Arlington Cove Nursing Center in Trumann, AR, at the age of 80 years, 5 months and 2 days. She was born Thursday, August 9, 1934 in Augusta, Ark. and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. Mrs. DiVittorio was retired from Delta Wood Products and a member of the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Raymond Fields and her parents, William and Minnie Craig Dabbs. She is survived one daughter, Karen Fields of Omaha, NE; three sons, Vic (Mary) DiVittorio of Richmond, Va., Ernie (Susan) DiVittorio of Morristown, Tenn., and Fred (Donna) DiVittorio of Jonesboro; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Dr. Jerry Wilcox officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
