Mrs. Vickie Lynn Morgan of Trumann died Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro at the age of 50 years, 2 months and 13 days. She was born Tuesday, October 20, 1964 in Manila, Ark., to the late Linda Stone Staggs and Eugene Staggs. She had lived in Trumann for the past 14 years and was formerly of Lake City, Ark. and was a housewife and member of the Victory Lighthouse Baptist Church. Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Stone Staggs. She is survived by her husband William Scott Morgan of the home; her father, Eugene Staggs of Jonesboro; one sister, Katherine Staggs of Jonesboro and one brother, Billy Staggs of Jonesboro. Funeral service will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, Ark.
