Polly Ann Abbott

Mrs. Polly Ann Abbott of Trumann died Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the family residence in Trumann at the age of 69 years, 3 months and 21 days . She was born Thursday, August 2, 1945 in Gholson, Miss., to the late Harmon Lee Green and Emma White Hoover. Mrs. Abbott had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was an associate for Wal Mart and formerly worked at Colsons Manufacturing and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by one daughter, Beth Abbott of Trumann; two sons, Joey Abbott of Trumann and Jeremy (Aimee) Abbott of Greenbrier, Ark.; one sister, Wilsie Mae Clayton of Williford, Ark.; two brothers, Richard (Louise) Green of Trumann and Benny (Pam) White of Luxora, Ark.; four grandchildren, Brandon, Kalueb, Hope and Delta Abbott. Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark.. Pallbearers will be Jerry Barton, Lee Watson, Patrick Lancaster, Derick Smithson, Greg Green and Derrick Green. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
