My North Georgia College & State University colleagues and I were sad when Greg and Karleen decided to leave Georgia and return to Arkansas. Greg was a fine sociology professor, and we did not want to lose him as a member of the faculty of the Department of History and Sociology. His passing on September 1 represents another loss for us. He died much too young, and he and his family are in our caring thoughts.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Dr. Sheets . Please accept my sincere condolences. May it comfort you to know that "The Most High God" resurrected humans on Earth before and He assures us He will do so again in the near future. (Psalms 83:18,Acts24:15)

Greg was a great friend and colleague. We talked almost every day...at least one time. He would often call just to tell me something he had heard on the radio which he listened to daily. I shall miss him. He loved to tell stories about hunting. He was a great hunting buddy when he was in Georgia. Our prayers, thoughts, and love are with his family and friends.
