Vernest Monroe Holt

Mr. Vernest Monroe Holt, 81, of Strawberry, Ark., departed this life on Saturday September 1, 2018 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Ark. He was born in Wynne, Ark. and had lived in Strawberry since 2006 and was formerly of Marked Tree, Ark. He was a supervisor in the Steel industry, veteran of U.S. Army and of the Church Of God faith. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Joy Faye DuBoise, Lonell Holt and Artievee Holt and was the son of the late Lonnie Layton and Sellia Jane Williams Holt.
