As a former classmate of Debbie, I visited her a few times both at the hospital and at the hospice house. I was able to pray with her and she told me she was ready to meet the Lord. I am glad for this but sad to lose another friend from high school days. May she rest in peace until that day we meet again by God's grace. To her family I wish to say that may God help you with your grief. You will be in my thoughts and prayers like she has been for many months now.

Deb and I were close when she worked at Fox Meadow Elementary. Our classrooms were next door to each other. Deb called the shots as she saw them. There were times when life threw her a few curve balls, but I admired her stamina. I will miss her unique personality. Rest in peace, Deb. Love you, Marilyn Sawyer
