My sympathies to Bettye's children. Your mom was my paternal first cousin and I only had the opportunity to meet her once, late in 2008. I know she was very strong in her faith and she is at peace.

Dear Teresa and family.It was a sad moment when I learned of your mom's passing. She was always such a joy. She was always so kind to me when I would spend the night at your house. Those are such sweet, precious memories to me. Then we flash forward many years to where we worked together at Wal-Mart. Again, the same kind, sweet lady with the beautiful smile. You all were so blessed for many years. The Lord has been so gracious to your family for letting you have her in your life. I know he blessed mine.You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Susie

Mrs. Betty Bowen was a great and loving lady. I grew up with her family and attended the same church. Mrs Betty Bowen will be greatly missed. May God be with the Family in their time of need.
