Mrs. Betty Jo Witt, of Trumann died Monday at her home in Trumann, Ark., at the age of 76 years and 2 days. Mrs. Witt was born Tuesday, September 14, 1937 in Harrisburg, Ark., and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a retired factory worker and was a member of First Baptist Church in Trumann. Mrs. Witt was preceded in death by her husband; Richard Oneal Witt, one son; Richard Lynn Witt, two brothers; Thomas Clem and David Clem and her parents; Erby Edward and Bessie Alva DeLones Clem. Survivors include one daughter; Rita J. Tosh of Jonesboro, Ark., one son; Michael L. Witt of Jonesboro, Ark., two sisters; Juanita Guthrie of Trumann and Maxine Willis of Garland, TX, two brothers; Hollis Clem of Little Rock, Ark., and Robert Clem of Fayetteville, Ark., 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. John Blackford officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Pallbearers will be Joel Willis, Gary Willis, Brian Scott Stotts, Jon Stotts, Hollis Clem and Dewayne Clem.
