John and Spencer:I wanted to send a special note to both of you to let you know how sweet I thought your mother was. She loved you boys with all her heart and was so proud of you both.This tragic passing has taken my breath away as she and I were pretty close while in school. She was a good friend and we always enjoyed a fun time together. She was smart, witty and so patient.Please tell your dad hello for me as we went to school together in J'boro b/f I moved to T'mann. Dear Stotts/Stephens family:I knew Wanda when I moved fromJ'boro to T'mann in 1965. She's beena lifelong friend, a fellow class mate. We cheered many sport sgames together and just had a good time. Wanda was a bright light that has moved on to the brighter light. Many she rest in peace with God and all f his angels for eternity.My love and prayers go to Barbara Sue, Jimmy, Bobbie, Mickie and sons and other family members. Such a loss for the world. I am so sad to hear of Wanda's death. We were classmates in the graduating class of 1968. I have many dear memories of Wanda as a high school friend. I'll always remember her sweet personality and beautiful smile. My prayers and thoughts are with her family and may you all cherish the memories you have of your precious loved one.

I taught your mother in high school. Then she did her practiceteaching under me. Followinggraduation from college, she and Itaught together. Her mother taught my sister at Shady Grove in the 1940's. My parents and her parents were friends from thelate 20's so we have a lot of history together. I thoroughly enjoyed her. She was so kind andsweet to me. I am in poor healthnow. I am battling lung cancerbut am doing good. Give my love to the family.

I,m so sad to hear about Wanda! I have fond memories of our time in school together and watching her as a cheerleader. She dated my good friend Hilton Hurdle during our High School days and I double dated with them. We had lots of fun and laughs and going to the Drive-in Movies in Jonesboro. I will always cheerish these memories and more for the rest of my days on this earth. Rest in peace my friend and classmate. We will always remember you Wanda!!! Butch

I cannot remember a time in my life that Wanda was not there. She and went to church together as children. One of my fondest memories is when we would go to the Carter's house and Mrs. Carter would let me, her and Larry jump on the bed. RIP my dear friend.
