Bobby Jay Harper

TRUMANN - Mr. Bobby Joe Harper was born on Tuesday July 21, 1942 to the late Melvin J and Minnie Pearlie (Harris) Harper in Cleburne AL. He died Sunday March 11, 2012 at his home in Trumann at the age of 69 Years, 7 Months and, 19 Days. Mr. Harper had spent most of his life in Trumann. Mr. Harper also know as (Jet Star) was an avid C.B. Radio enthusiast and a Plumber. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, Bessie Harper, Inez Young Harper, Beatrice McCormick Harper, Wilma Vannater Harper, Dot Walker Harper, six brothers, Virgil, Jess, James, Leroy, Sylvester, and Will Harper Survivors include one daughter, Tammy (Harper) Gibson of Goobertown., one sister, Dorothy Lee Kilgore, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday March 13, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Tommy Jordon and Ricky Kilgore officiating. Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro. Visitation will be Tuesday March 13 from 10:00
