I've been friend's with Bill and Betty since 1960 and abetter couple you will not find. Betty was kind and loving and everyone loved her. I left Trumann in 1966 and have kept in touch and always enjoyed talking with Betty when Bill did not pick up the phone or was not home. In these last few years she was always positive. I could always see why Bill loved her so much. Bill, I am so sorry for your great loss. I love you , man!

We are so sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories of Betty. I will never forget the first time I met her. I was in their store and I was talking to my daughter. A very nice lady came around the end of the aisle where we were and said "You must be Suzie". She recognized that I had a different accent than the people in Trumann. My mother-in-law was a good friend of hers and she had talked to Betty about me and my family. There other times we had conversations when I was in the store. I will deeply miss her. My deepest sympathies to the Cook family. My first job was at Trumann Hardware, where I found the Cook's to be some of the dearest people I have ever met. Also, one of the Cook "kids" is one of my oldest and dearest friends. I wish I could be there to pay tribute. I hope this precious family finds peace. God be with you and Bless you all.
