David Ray RenshawFebruary 17, 1937 - March 12, 2011 Mr. David Ray Renshaw was born on Wednesday, February 17, 1937, son of the late Joe and Bernice Long Renshaw He died on Saturday March 12, 2011 at Phil and Flo Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 74 years 0 month and 23 days. Mr. Renshaw was born in Trumann where he lived his lifetime, served in the U.S. Navy and spent the remainder of his work career as a Farm Manager. He was of the Pentecostal belief. Mr. Renshaw enjoyed spending his time visiting with his friends and family, he also enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents and eleven brothers and sisters. Survivors include two sons, Anthony Renshaw and wife Debby of Trumann and Timmy Renshaw and wife Shawn of Jonesboro; one daughter, Tina Gibson and husband Chris of Jonesboro; one brother, Gene Renshaw of Jonesboro; two sisters, Debby Hartley of Trumann and Dorothy Stonecipher of Homuma La; five grandchildren, Britni Renshaw Brown and husband Josh, Devin Renshaw, Tyler Renshaw, Slater Renshaw, Gunnar Renshaw; and one great-grandchild, Alex Brown. Graveside service will be Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg, Ark., with Bro. Ronnie Dye officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. Pallbearers will be Eric Bowers, Devin Renshaw, Slater Renshaw, Gunnar Renshaw, Tyler Renshaw, and Jon Childs. Honorary pallbearers will be Clifton Richey and Johnny Whitman. Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
