Virginia Helen Richardson

Mrs. Virginia Helen Richardson was born on Sunday, November 20, 1927 the daughter of the late Orin J. and Doris Grace James Mrs. Richardson died Thursday afternoon at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 18 days. Mrs. Richardson was born in Tulot, Ark., and was a lifetime resident of the Trumann area. She was a housewife and a member of the First General Baptist Church near Trumann. Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Audra Allen; one brother, O. J. James and her parents. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Eugene Richardson of the home; two sons, Richie Richardson and wife Mary Jane of Trumann and Ronnie Richardson and wife Rhonda of Cabot, Ark.; one sister, Grace Cutberth of Memphis, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Jill Lewellen, Ryan Richardson, Nick Richardson, Kristie Daniel, Kamille Best, Chris Cason, Kim Simmons and nineteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Darrel Miller officiating. Burial will be private at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Pallbearers will be Ryan Richardson, Nick Richardson, Peyton Richardson, Boyd Richardson, Madison Daniel and Chris Cason. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
