Larry E. Carter, Sr.

Mr. Larry E. Carter was born on Friday, April 1, 1949, son of the late L.T. and Lucille Carter. Mr. Carter died Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the family residence, at the age of 61 years months and days. He was born on April 1, 1949 in Trumann, Ark, and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann and Forrest City before moving to Santa Fe, New Mexico 17 years ago. Mr. Carter was an interior designer for Fleishman Designs of Santa Fe. He was preceded in death by one nephew, Nicky Wright and his parents. Survivors include one son, Larry E. Carter, Jr. of Forrest City; five brothers, William Carter, Junior Carter, and Michael Carter all of Trumann, Jimmy Carter of Harrisburg and Robert Carter of Memphis, TN; four sisters, Debbie Carter McInturff of Jonesboro, Peggy Wright of Trumann, Patricia Ann Muse and Bonnie Jean Harvey both of Owasso, OK; ex-wife and special friend, Linda B. Carter of Forrest City; 21 nieces and nephews, 37 great-nieces and nephews, 11 great-great-nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.
