Sammy was a charismatic person. He so did touch many lives. One of my sister's dated him for several year's. I never knew of him saying an unkind word to anyone, unless they deserved it and then to their face. Admired that. A good man, I'm sure Trumann will miss seeing him around.

Dear Family, We were so sorry to hear of Sammy's passing. But circumstances made it impossable for us to make the trip. Know that you were in our hearts & prayers all day yesterday. Sammy was our hero, He was a silent hero that served his country even after repeated injuries to himself he stayed to protect our freedom. I know he was a gentle giant who will never be forgotten.Our love is with you all, Hope to be down there soon. We are seriously thinking of coming back there to live. But first we have to get rid of the house we are in.It would be nice to be able to share time with our family.
