Janet Ann Barton Roach

November 13, 1947 - February 3, 2011

Mrs. Janet Ann Roach was born on Thursday, November 13, 1947, daughter of the late Elijah and Edith Dickens Barton. She died Thursday, February 3, 2011 at the family residence, at the age of 63 years 2 Months and 21 Days. She was born in Harrisburg, Ark, and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann before moving to West Memphis three years ago. Mrs. Roach was an apartment manager and a member of the First Baptist Church in Trumann. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include one son, G.W. Roach, III of Jonesboro; one daughter, Leisa Reese of Trumann; four brothers, Eli Barton of Sterling, IL, William Barton of Greers Ferry, Ark., Alvin Barton of Rock Falls, IL, and Frank Barton of West Memphis, Ark.; four grandchildren, Merritt Davis, Skye Roach, Keefer Roach, and Scarlett Davis; and one great-grandson, Kai Davis. Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Ronnie Dye officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Pallbearers will be Keefer Roach, Merritt Davis, Mike Roach, Jr., Jeremy Osment, Chase Young and Perry Young.
