Mrs. Lucile Drew Kyle was born on Monday, April 29, 1912, daughter of the late Fred and Sarah Green Drew. She died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at the family residence in Trumann, at the age of 98 years 7 months and 24 days. She was born in Swift, MO., and had lived in Trumann for the past 68 years and was formerly of Marked Tree, Ark., she was a homemaker and member of the Trumann Revival Center. Mrs. Kyle was preceded in death by her husband, Aulta Kyle; one daughter, Reba Jean Kyle; one son, Vester Kyle; one sister, three brothers and her parents. Survivors include three daughters, Irene Chandler of Trumann, Doris Shelly of Memphis and Janice Holt of Jonesboro; two sons, Jimmy Kyle of Bloomingdale, Ga., and Jerry Kyle of Ava, MO.; one sister, Ruby Jones of Rockford, Ill., two brothers, James Drew of Rockford, Ill., and Jessie Drew of Sterling Heights, Mich. 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Trumann Revival Center with Bro. Frank Hardwick and Bro. Harold McMasters officiating. Burial will follow in the Nettleton Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann. Active pallbearers will be Mike Chandler, Shane Kyle, Garvin Pulley, Bill Wilson, Michael Spray and Lloyd Inzer. Grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Trumann Revival Center, Pine and Cedar Streets, Trumann, Ark. An online guest book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
