Loreda Webb Hammonds

Mrs. Loreda Webb Hammonds was born on Sunday, January 5, 1941, daughter of the late Kelley W. and Helen Whitlatch Webb. She died Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the family residence, at the age of 69 years 11 months and 11 days. She was a Retired Florist and Homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hammonds, one daughter, Elizabeth Renee Hammonds, and her parents. Survivors include two sons, Kelley Hammonds of Trumann and DeWayne Hammonds of Milan, Tenn.; two daughters, Kristin Wilson of Trumann and Sheila Austin of Harrisburg; two brothers, K. W. Webb of Jonesboro and Wendell Webb of Rockford, Ill; two sisters, Loys Teague of West Memphis and Marilyn McKay of Litchfield, Ill; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Doke officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Active pallbearers will be Dale Bibb, Ron Maxwell, Ken Maxwell, Lloyd Inzer, Gerald Smith, and Ralph Olsen. Honorary pallbearers will be C. A. Jones, Eugene Richardson, Herman Robertson, Carmack Johnson, Dub Smith, and Curt Owens. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God 104 Flossie Dr. Trumann, AR 72472.
