Bobby Chaffin, Sr.

TRUMANN- Mr. Bobby W. Chaffin, Sr., 75, of Trumann, died Friday, August 27, 2010, at the family residence in Trumann. He was born in Trumann, Ark., and had lived his lifetime in the Trumann area. Mr. Chaffin was a retired radio operator, a veteran of the US Army and of the Church of Christ faith. He was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Chaffin and his parents, Woodrow and Ruth Moffit Chaffin. Survivors include one son, Bobby Chaffin of Trumann; two daughters, Jackie Harrison and Terri (Rick) Strange of Trumann; two brothers, Billy Chaffin of Arkadelphia and Jimmy Joe Chaffin of Trumann. 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held Sunday afternoon at l:30 in the Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro with Charles Gobbell officiating. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
